Shylo

From his new mommy 4/27/12: We've had a great morning! He has met most of the kids in the special needs rooms and he was perfectly behaved and so patient with the kids!!!! We've been to the library to hear a story and sat a listened quietly. After the story he walked over to the kindergarten kids on the carpet and walked right in the middle of the carpet and just stood and let every child pet him-it was soooo awesome! He is one amazing creature. Can't wait to get him started on reading therapy training. Will give you an update at the end of our day! :0)

Shylo, now known as Linus (because he loves dragging his blanket around) has a great forever home and I have a new rescue partner.

Extremely thin, matted, neglected but ready and eager to love and be loved.   Shylo does not seem to have been abused, just neglected.   He is great! loaded in the car fine. Walks good on leash.    He does like attention and will give you "the paw" when you stop petting.   He was so good letting me get the mats out from behind his ears. Contrary, his coat is so soft and fine that behind the ears was the only place he had mats.
    He weighs 71 pounds but needs to gain about 30. He is just skin over bones. Despite his starved condition, he has no food issues or other apparent issues.
    Shylo came with Jerico. The story is unclear, but they ended up with my vet. Between myself and All Creatures, by spring Shylo should be in top shape and ready for the great forever home he deserves.
